Auction Rules

  1. All cars bought and sold on the auction premises must paid for through the auction office.
  2. It is the seller’s obligation to correct any errors made by the auction as to announced “Conditions”. It is the buyer’s obligation to watch the lights and listen to announced “Conditions”.
  3. No vehicle will be offered for sale without a valid vehicle Identification number plate.
  4. The buyer is responsible for verifying serial number, model year, and odometer reading and that the odometer is working before leaving the sale.
  5. The auction does not guarantee the year of any house trailers, recreational vehicles, antiques, motorcycles, boats and boat motors, or reconstructed vehicles.
  6. Motor homes must be sold announcing the model year of the chassis and the model year of the body.
  7. Damage and repair frames must be announced under the red light.
  8. All Vehicles must have a Paid Gate Pass before leaving the premises.
  9. The Auction is NOT LIABLE for any state tax or ad valorem tax.
  10. Any Vehicles that are grey market, Kit cars and any reproduction vehicles must have a valid Georgia registration. All of these types of vehicles will be sold “AS IS” and are not subject to arbitration.
  11. Any vehicle sold through Georgia Auto & RV Auction must have a title and tag receipt. The tag receipt must match the decal on the car.
  12. Any vehicle sold with salvage history or a salvage title must be repurchased by the seller if not disclosed up front. Any legal situation that may occur on Salvage vehicles or titles is strictly between the buyer and the seller. Georgia Auto & RV Auction is not responsible.
  13. YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE THE AUCTION AND HAVE YOUR BIDDER NUMBER VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES.
  14. Do not tamper with the accessories or attachments on the vehicle such as the radio, windows, sunroofs, tops, etc. Do remove any keys for any reason.
  15. YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE THE AUCTION AND HAVE YOUR BIDDER NUMBER VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES.
  16. YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE THE AUCTION AND HAVE YOUR BIDDER NUMBER VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES.

  18. Payments are accepted in CASH, DEBIT, OR CREDIT CARD. If you choose to pay by credit card, a 5% Buyers premium surcharge will be added to the transaction. Only check that will be accepted is a cashier’s check.
  19. ALL PURCHASES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE PREMISES

 

Auctioneer Light System Rules

   RIDE & DRIVE   

GREEN LIGHT indicated a mechanically “sound” vehicle and a good car. It indicated no defects in the engine, transmission, pr rear end.

On recreation vehicles, defects are limited to engine, transmission and rear end only. The vehicle must sell for at least $2000. To qualify as a green light vehicle. If the vehicle is over ten years old or can be repaired for less than $500., it is not subject to arbitration.

*Green light vehicles can be driven for 1 hour after the auction to check the engine and transmission. Any issues must be brought to the auctions attention the night of the sale. Frame damage, odometer discrepancies and title discrepancies must be brought to the auctions attention within 7 days of the sale date.

   AS IS   

RED LIGHT means use extreme caution when bidding on red light vehicles. It is indicated the vehicle is for sale “AS IS”. They cannot be turned down for any mechanical defects.

THERE IS NO BACKING OUT. THE VEHICLE IS YOURS!!!! Taxis, police cars, flood cars, frame damage must be announced “As IS”.

   TITLE ATTACHED   

BLUE LIGHT indicated that the title is not present at the time of the sale. The title must be received from the seller within (30) days.

If the title has not been received by the auction by midnight of the 30th day, the buyer may return the vehicle. The buyer must notify the auction prior to return the vehicle. If the auction has not been notified that the vehicle is being returned, when the title is received, the title will be processed to the buyer. Once the title is processed into the buyers name the vehicle cannot be returned.

**We will reserve the right to charge a 500$ fee to the seller due to the title not being processed properly within 30 days.**

  1. When is the auction?
    A: Our auction is held the last Friday of the month. Special auctions will be announced as they are scheduled
  2. Where are you located?

  3. Is the public allowed at your auction
    A: YES, we welcome the public. In today’s economic times we are excited to be able to help consumers get the most for their money
  4. When can I look at the cars?
    A: All day on Friday.
  5. What do I need to buy a car at your auction ?
    A: We require a valid driver’s license, which is also required to receive a title in the state of Georgia.
  6. Does it cost anything to attend the Auction?
    A: We do require a $300.00 cash deposit to issue a bidder number. This will go towards the amount of anything you buy.
  7. What fees are there for buying a car?
    A: There is a buyers fee based on the purchase price of the vehicle. You will be given a list of our fees.
    We charge $250.00 for title application fees and processing. You will be required to pay sales tax based on the country of your residence. If you live in the state of Georgia, you will be required to pay 7% tax
  8. What forms of payment do you accept and when is payment due?
    A: We accept cash and most major credit cards. There is a 3.4% buyers premium charged on all credit card transactions.
    FULL PAYMENT IS DUE THE NIGHT OF THE SALE.
  9. What do I need to sell a car?
    A: The title need to be provided with the vehicle being sold. The face of the tile must be printed with the owners name and owners drivers license must be provided. NO OPEN TITLES WILL BE ACCEPTED. There is a 35$ registration fee for each vehicle in the auction. A seller fee will be deducted from your check and a check will be gibe to you as soon as you sell your car. A list of our fees will be provided.
